23% of the water used is available for reuse

Through a pilot project in the Kapelle region, this water is made available to local farmers. The “reuse of process water in agriculture” project is used to combat salinisation and to provide farmers with fresh water, in collaboration with the water authority, the municipality, local farmers and the province.
